Gap and SeaVees Spring/Summer 0769 Sneakers

Posted March 26, 2013 by in Fashion

Gap has been around as long as I have.  Well, actually, they’ve been around much longer.  The brand was established in 1969 by Doris and Don Fisher simply because Don could not find a pair of well fitted jeans.  Almost half a century later, Don and Doris are still going strong.  Most people in North America and the UK are familiar with The Gap’s brand of comfortable and stylish jeans, tops, shorts and accessories. Gap now has 3,100 stores worldwide and operate under 6 different brands; Old Navy, Banana Republic, Piperlime, Athleta, INTERMIX and, of course, The Gap.   With the addition of their new stores in Australia, Italy and China, we are sure to see Gap unravel a wider global influence in the world of fashion.

This year Gap is teaming up with another popular California brand, SeaVees, to release a slick new set of shoes that will have your hearts and feet aglow. The 0769 quartet of slip on shoes, simply put, ARE summer and evoke fantasies of strolling along sandy beaches and kicking back in the park with some mates.  These canvas sneakers are uniquely dyed to go with some of Gaps most popular denim shades and will surely match any pair of jeans or shorts you can buy.

The 0769s are actually named after the first Gap store, which was opened in San Francisco on July 1969.  The shoe was designed to be a celebration of the founding of the Gap. The shoes feature matching laces, white rubber soles with a SeaVees logo, and reinforced stitching.

The SeaVees for Gap 0769 collection of shoes are available for sale in shops or online now.  They retail for around $55.  For more information, check out the SeaVees website or hit up a Gap store near you.
