Is The Agent the World’s Best Smart Watch?
Every now and then we like to see what is bubbling on Kickstarter. Today we were pleasantly surprised to discover The Agent Smart Watch. It claims to be the world’s smartest watch. Are those claims justified? Well, let’s take a peek and see what The Agent can do.
The team over at Secret Labs spent the last year testing the latest technologies in their savvy new device. Teaming up with NYC watchmakers House of Horology, the Agent watch was designed with two different faces, one digital and one analogue, which you can switch with the press of a button. If the two inbuilt styles are not to your liking you can download additional watchfaces through your smart phone. Okay, that is pretty cool.
What else? The Agent Smart Watch uses Bluetooth, meaning that you can access your music collection on your phone and use it as a display for your apps. The watch will display incoming calls and notifications. As an added bonus it will vibrate to let you know if you have left your phone behind – very convenient if you are notorious for losing things.
The Agent Smart Watch runs on downloadable apps, making it match your needs and lifestyle. You want a heart-rate app to help you with your exercise routine? Easy peasy! The battery life in this smart watch is also considerably longer than others as it goes into sleep mode when it is not in use. The agent also features a second processor to help save you battery life.
What else? Managed run-time for low-power consumption, desktop emulator, a 1.28” Sharp high speed memory display, and wireless charging – meaning that you can charge your watch without any wires by placing it on the Qi charging pad. The Agent Smart Watch is also water resistant, helping you to protect your watch while even washing the dishes.
Not enough for you? The Agent Smart watch also features light and motion detection sensors, fail safe recovery modes, advanced power management, and comes in a variety of funky straps.
