IWC Top Gun Miramar Watch

The Top Gun Miramar Watch is named after the training base in California that had inspired the film.  Featuring a polished ceramic case, anthracite dial and beige hands and chapter rings, this 6 bar water resistant watch will last for one week when fully wound – thanks to its in house 51111 calibre technology.  The Top Gun Miramar Watch utilizes Pellaton Automatic Winding, a technology that was invented by Albert Pellaton in the late 1940s/ early 1950s.  Pellaton Automatic Winding allows the watch to wind itself just from the movement that comes when you wear it, meaning that you should not have to manually wind it if you wear it every day.  If you prefer to wind, the watch also comes with the Pawl-Winding System, which will build up an 8.5 day power reserve lickity-split.

The Top Gun Miramar Watch has been specially designed to resist pressure, meaning that the sapphire glass will not shatter in an airplane cockpit.  The convex glass also has antireflective coating on both sides for optimum visual appeal.

With a diameter of 48mm and a case height of 15mm, the Top Gun Miramar watch also features a green military inspired textile strap, power reserve display, date display, screw in crown, breguet spring, and Glucydur® beryllium alloy balance with high-precision adjustment cam on balance arms.
